Flashing solar wayfinding for pedestrian crossing
A solar-powered wayfinding system was installed to enhance the safety of a pedestrian crossing and alert motorists to the approach of the crossbar.
The solution is based on ECO-143 recessed solar studs, which emit a flashing white light, visible day and night, without the need for a grid lighting connection.
The system improves pedestrian crossing legibility, while blending discreetly into the urban environment.
