Illuminated wayfinding for bicycle paths

Embedded studs at the edge or in the middle of cycle paths provide better guidance, improved visibility and safer movement for users.

Wayfinding improves the legibility of bicycle landscaping, guides users and makes sensitive areas safer (intersections, obstacles, cohabitation with other traffic flows) without the need for traditional lighting. In this way, they contribute to a more comfortable ride, day and night.

Our role is to support you in your choice of solutions and layout, based on the configuration of the roadway, usage and environmental constraints.

Points to watch :

  • Use low-profile bracket projections for cyclists’ comfort and safety
  • Opt for grazing and directional wayfinding to guide efficiently without generating light pollution.
  • In natural environments, use warm hues (2700K, amber or red) to limit the impact on biodiversity.
  • Position the studs to prevent them from being obscured by vegetation and to ensure that solar versions can be recharged.
  • Choose products that can be maintained and that are adapted to mechanical constraints, to ensure the longevity of the installation.
