Illuminated wayfinding enhances the visibility of pedestrian crossbars and draws drivers’ attention to areas of conflict between users. It anticipates the presence of the crossing and ensures safe pedestrian crossing, particularly at night or in poor visibility conditions.
Our support consists of defining the solutions and layout best suited to the configuration of the roadway and its uses, in addition to existing landscaping regulations.
Recommended layout :
- Position a stud upstream of each white strip, in line with the marking, to clearly indicate the crossing.
- Maintain a low bracket projection to guarantee traffic comfort and durability
- Ensure legibility from a remotely to encourage vehicles to slow down
- Adapt layout to site constraints (roadway width, presence of parking, PMR accessibility, maintenance)
