Recycling end-of-life products
Recycling Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) enables us to reclaim a large proportion of the components used, thus preserving natural resources.
We are a founding member of the recycling network dedicated to professional WEEE, currently managed by the approved eco-organization ECOSYSTEM. As such, we finance the take-back and recycling of end-of-life electronic safety, lighting and control equipment placed on the market, in order to meet our regulatory obligations and enable our customers to fulfill theirs in full compliance.
We are also a member of the BATRIBOX eco-organization, which collects, recycles and recovers the batteries used in some of our solar equipment. This commitment enables us to manage batteries responsibly at the end of their life cycle, in compliance with regulatory requirements, while helping our customers to meet their own environmental obligations.
Collection, regulatory compliance and eco-design
We were one of the first manufacturers to offer our customers a simple, free collection solution for professional WEEE, regardless of when it was put on the market.
Collection is ensured by a local network of professional drop-off centers and partner wholesalers throughout mainland France and the French Overseas Departments and Territories.
Our unique identifier FR006801_05MBCK, assigned by ADEME, attests to our registration in the register of producers of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE), in accordance with article L.541-10-13 of the French Environment Code.
This identifier confirms our regulatory compliance, both in terms of registration and declarations of marketing to the ECOSYSTEM approved eco-organization.
The commitments we have made to the eco-organizations ECOSYSTEM and BATRIBOX have led us to integrate recycling constraints into the development of our future products.
Eco-design is therefore a priority area of work, fully integrated into our innovation approach.
For example, our ECO-120 flush-mounted solar array for wayfinding was designed from the outset to enable easy and efficient dismantling of each of its components at the end of its life.
The aim of this approach is to encourage the recovery and reuse of elements that are still functional, in a spirit of circular economy and environmental responsibility.
