Synchronized flashing wayfinding of a pedestrian crossing

Bernin (France)Solar

To enhance the safety of a pedestrian crossing subject to heavy traffic, a synchronized flashing solar wayfinding system was deployed to improve visibility of the crossbar, particularly in the evening and at night.

The solution is based on the ECO-160 flush-mounted solar stud, renowned for its robustness and quality of light distribution. Thanks to the GPS option, the set operates with perfectly synchronized flashing, effectively attracting the attention of motorists.

10 solar panels installed on either side of the pedestrian crossing between two company buildings.

Main features:
– ECO-160A flush-mounted solar light
– Light mode: GPS-synchronized flashing (1 flash / second)
– LED color: blue
– Wayfinding: unidirectional grazing (3 LEDs)
– Energy storage: Ni-MH batteries
– Cover: sanded black anodization (cover and bowl)
