Pedestrian safety on the Mont-Saint-Michel footbridge

Mont-Saint-Michel (France)Wired

A discreet and effective wayfinding system was installed on the footbridge leading to Mont-Saint-Michel, to ensure the safety of pedestrians and cyclists, day and night.

The lighting design favored a low-angled, perfectly controlled light, avoiding any light pollution towards the sky and respecting the exceptional character of the site.

The solution is based on ECO-845 low-voltage ground recessed luminaires, offering high-performance horizontal wayfinding, low power consumption and easy maintenance.

Main features:
– ECO-845 ground recessed luminaire
– Horizontal wayfinding: 8 LEDs
– LED color: warm white 3,000 K
– Power consumption: 0.96 W per unit
– Very low voltage, low-maintenance connectors
